So much to see and do. Great for a stroll, a picnic or just to take the kids to have a play and get some air.
The Bendigo Botanic Gardens are build around a central billabong.
Located in Epsom, the gardens are about a 10-minute drive from the Oval Motel.
What To Expect
There are many gardens on display. The experience is quite amazing as you wander through the different areas. No two areas look the same.
You'll find:
- Cottage Gardens of the Victorian Goldfields
- National Lavender Collection
- Heritage Canna Collection
- Habitat Garden
- The Brand new 'Garden For The Future'

Garden of the Future
Opened in early 2018, the Garden of the Future is quite amazing. Although still early days for the plants, you can imagine how great this space will look in coming years.
This is quite a versatile place. It'll be used for performances, markets and a great place to bring the kids to run around.

Gardens close at 9:00PM
Food and Drink
There's nowhere to buy food at the gardens but there are heaps of great picnic spots!
